9th - 12th Grades

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Registration is not yet open for the 2024-2025 school year for new students to MVISD for any grades other than Kindergarten. Pre-K will open April 3rd. For any other grades, please do not complete any online forms or book an appointment for next school year until you see updated information posted here, or the appointment will be cancelled and you will have to complete a new application.
Information is TBD at this time.

There are three steps to the enrollment process for new high school students.

1. Complete the online enrollment application: Enrollment Application
If your online application is not complete at the time of your appointment or you do not have all of your required documents (see list below), your appointment will be canceled.

2. Schedule an appointment on our calendar: HS Appointment Calendar

Appointments are scheduled on Central Time Zone. Please ensure your device is on correct time zone. Schedule one appointment per child. Please bring your high school student with you to your appointment to meet with your student's Administrator and counselor.

3. Once the registration has been processed, you and your student will visit with his or her counselor to discuss their course schedule. Once your registration appointment has been completed, your student will begin school the next school day.

Please note: We will not request records from another school until after your student is enrolled. You must bring all required documents to your appointment in order for us to process your child's registration.

The child's biological parent (must be listed on birth certificate) or legal guardian (must already possess legal and notarized guardianship documents) must be the one to come to the appointment to complete the registration and submit the following documents:
  • Child's birth certificate
  • Child's social security card
  • Child's immunization records
  • ID of parent / guardian (picture ID must be current, expired IDs will not be accepted)
  • Active military ID (if applicable)
  • Proof of residence stating physical address and / or service address (light bill, water bill, property tax statement, new buyer's contract or new lease agreement - may not be more than two months old). The bill must be in parent's name, current, show usage and state service address matching student enrollment application. Expired, past due or disconnection notices will not be accepted.
  • If at all possible, please bring transcripts from your child's previous school to your appointment. Without these documents, if the previous school does not fulfill our record request in a timely manner, your child's high school credits are at risk. This is critical to ensuring they can maintain their goal for graduation. Please note: we do not request records from schools outside of the continental U.S.

If applicable you may also bring:
  • Special Education Papers
  • 504 Records
  • Speech Education Papers
  • Legal Documents
